Virginia HARRIS Deighan

Attended Massey Business College in Jacksonville; married and moved to Seattle, Washington (very short time – it was tough to own a sports car and not let the top down because it was always raining). Moved back to Jacksonville Beach in 1962 and have lived here ever since.  Entered the insurance field and never changed careers; retired 6 years ago. Divorced, was a single parent for 5 years; met and married Fred Deighan in 1970.  Fred worked for City of Jacksonville Beach for 31 years and the last reunion we attended, he knew as many people as I did; all those Southern Bell boys from 1959 class.  

 We have one son, age 46 and one grandson, age 21.  As everyone else mentioned, being a grandmother is the BEST / MOST FUN ever.  

 Our hobby is RVing – we own a 45’ Dynasty motorhome and we travel as much as possible.
